Meet the Tennis Professionals
|AL VAN VLIET, DIRECTOR OF WELLNESS|
Al has been with The Country Club of North Carolina since May of 1986. He is the Director of Wellness and currently manages the Tennis, Fitness, Pool and Pickleball facilities for the club.
Al was introduced to the Professional Tennis Registry and certified as a Professional in 1978. Before coming to the Pinehurst area in 1980, he was a permanent staff member and a National Tester with Dennis Van der Meer’s Tennis University.
Al is also a fitness enthusiast and is a Certified Personal Trainer for the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is TRX Qualified. He specializes in working with "senior" clients, as he is now one himself.

|KEITH CRISCOE, HEAD TENNIS PROFESSIONAL |
Keith joined CCNC as Head Tennis Professional in June of 2019. He has an extensive playing and teaching background and is very well versed in all aspects of the tennis industry. A graduate of the Professional Tennis Management Program at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Keith is also an Elite Professional in the United States Professional Tennis Association.
Keith played tennis for Methodist University and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017. He also served as their Head Men’s Tennis Coach for a number of years. He brings his knowledge and expertise to CCNC and is looking forward to continuing the growth of our program.

|TIM SCHEUERMAN, TENNIS PROFESSIONAL / HEAD PICKLEBALL PROFESSIONAL |
Tim joined CCNC as a Tennis Professional in February of 2020. He is a graduate of the Professional Tennis Management program at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
In addition, he is also an Elite Professional in the United States Professional Tennis Association as well a Master Professional in the Professional Tennis Registry for 10 and Under Junior Development. Tim has also recently been certified by the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) to teach pickleball.
Tim has an extensive background working with both juniors and adults. We are excited to bring his knowledge and expertise to CCNC

|AIDAN TEMPLE, Tennis PROFESSIONAL|
Aidan Temple joined our CCNC Professional Staff as an Assistant Tennis Professional in September of 2019. Aidan is certified by the Professional Tennis Registry in the 10 and Under and also in the 17 and Under divisions. Aidan will be working in all areas of our tennis operation and he will be focusing on the continued development of our young, junior players.
Aidan is making a long-term commitment to a career as a tennis professional. He is an excellent player and loves working with juniors and aspiring tournament players.
